I never intended to become an influencer but a few years ago businesses would reach out to ask if they could send me items. Shoutout to Stanford Ave Boutique for making me their first Ambassador. I appreciate that opportunity by @meghann_monroe and @_cmspence for basically kicking off my influencer title, forever grateful. They are serial entrepreneurs so be sure to check out their other businesses. But since I have been an influencer for years I have worked with a lot of phenomenal black-owned businesses so I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites (if I left you out it was not on purpose charge it to my head).
This is a list of businesses I either know personally, had a collaboration, or I have personally supported. Please support these businesses and show them love! I am not putting them in any particular order, just listing:

She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a talented MUA. Grind Pretty encourage girl bosses to be their full potential. She has events, has a subscription box, makeup line, and so much more. I love her and her brands.
Slim + Huskys www.instagram.com/slimandhuskys [RESTAURANT] My cousin Derek is one of 3 owners, however, Clinton and EJ are like family too. They are 3 Tennessee State University graduates and members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I am not being biased by adding them to the list by any means. I LOVE their pizza and cinnamon buns. I am not even a big pizza eater but there's is just very different. You can pick your ingredients to build your own. I usually get chicken, shrimp, Salomon, spinach, and cheese Husky. They have locations in Nashville (my hometown) and now several locations in Atlanta, GA as well. They have other locations coming soon to other cities as well so be on the lookout. Also, I love how they incorporate culture into their venues from Hip-Hop, city-related, and black culture.

Billionaires Bling [BLING] www.instagram.com/billionairesbling I love Jasmine even though I have not met her in-person yet she is Pennsylvania. I was supposed to this summer during Boule. But she blings anything I have several bling Starbucks cups, blinged Chanel perfume, face mask, water bottle, Chanel wall art, face visor, and more. She is so dope. Creative and talented.
